The Bride

Rachel Elizabeth DeVore

Rachel Elizabeth DeVore grew up living all over the east coast, landing in the D.C. Area until she left to study in Florida State University (Go Noles!). Her time in Florida ended when she left for Japan and Korea to launch her teaching career. Some say this was the best choice she ever made, leading her to meet Dow while living in Seoul back in 2021. Today she spends her time teaching 4th grade students at Ka’iulani Elementary School in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

The Groom

Dow Chung

Dow Chung spent most of his childhood between Korea and the United States until leaving for South America after his military service. His return to Korea afterwards is considered to be his greatest idea so far, considering it not only sheltered him from the pandemic but also brought him to meet Rachel. Today he attends the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York to further his studies.
