Cafe Julia is located within the YWCA Laniakea Center building that was designed by Julia Morgan, the namesake of the Cafe and one of the first female architects in the United States. It is a semi-outdoor venue with open areas and both the ceremony and reception will be held within the venue.

Dress Code

Cocktail Attire / Tropical & Aloha

We encourage cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy separates for women.

For men, no suits required—dress pants or chinos with a button-down are perfect.

As it can get cooler at night, you might want to have a jacket or shrug if you tend to get cold as the ceremony and reception will be outside.
